Diet, exercise: At age 17, the skin is normally still tight. Excess tissue in the jaw area is most often from excess body weight. When an overweight patient begins to lose weight, it will be quickly become evident in the face. Eating a healthy diet and exercising will help you lose the weight.

Depends: depends on the cause of the fat problem...is it diet related, is it a jaw posture problem, is it a clenching problem
