Ovulation: Antidiabetic medications are an over used medication, but in select cases, particularly in women with nsulin resistance may help lower androgens aiding in ovulation and implantation.

PCOS: Polycystic ovarian syndrome is usually treated with an anti-estrogen called Clomid and an anti-diabetic medication called glucophage (metformin). The Clomid is to induce ovulation and the glucophage (metformin) is to help with Insulin resistance.
