Itching and BV: Anal itching is not usually associated with bacterial vaginosis. It can happen due to pinworms, especially in younger children, a hemorrhoid, a yeast infection, or irritation/allergy to an agent. It is possible that you reacted to the metrogel. Try Anusol-HC suppository. If taking oral flagyl(metronidazole) then it could be sensitivity to colored ,scented toilet paper, soap, or detergent.
