Please tell me, could bacterial vaginosis cause itching and burning?

Yes: Bacterial vaginosis is a very common vaginal infection in women. It is from bacteria that live normally in the vagina and for unclear reasons, overgrow and cause symptoms. Symptoms include irritation, itching, discharge and fishy odor. Even with proper treatment, recurrences are common. Yeast infection is also possible.
