Soon: Depo provera (medroxyprogesterone) wears off in 75 to 105 days based upon your BMI. The higher BMI patients, it wears off sooner. Ovulation will occur between 3 to 5 months after the initial injection.

Depo shots: It is variable when you will get your period and ovulation back. It is possible to get pregnant as soon as 12 weeks following the last injection, though for some women it can take around 9 months for fertility to return.
