Radiating Pain=Clue: There could be a number of things going on, but must be assessed. Further tests may shed some light. MRI or CT scans may shed some light. Another consideration is to make sure this is not complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS or RSD). This has some key clinical features, such as swelling and most of all cold skin. This is also a syndrome that could be induced through such trauma.
