Not recommended: there is a drug interaction between these medications (both increase sedation and drowsiness).. Remember, always talk with your physician to make sure you can use certain medication safely. Take care.

Thats no switch: Atarax will not prevent sedative withdrawal. You have to wean off xanax (alprazolam) and find meds to help. Atarax is irrelevant
