I had a hormone imbalance-test, and thyroid. improving now. i gained weight in strange areas - groin and mid-section. once my hormones are balanced will my fat distribution return as it was before?

I don't know: which of your body's thousands of hormones you're referring to and what an imbalance test is. You need to provide much more information before I can give you an answer. If you gained weight, you still need to burn off those calories (3500 to the pound) to lose the weight again. Try talking w/your doctor.

Hypothroid: For 10 to 15 % of people hypothyroidism can be the main contributor to having excess fat. I would expect your symptoms to improve, however, it does not hurt to continue to exercise.
