Im a day late on my period but i have a clear discharge took a preg test that was negative can i take a blood test or too soon?

Not too soon: If your period is already due, then you can definitely take a home pregnancy test and if it's negative then likely you aren't pregnant. If you're worried, you can re-check in 5-7 days, but sounds like a negative. You can also take a blood test for confirmation, they appear positive a few days before a urine pregnancy test will be positive. Hope that helps.
