Keeping fluid balanc: up with regular hydration is important. Depending on the medical conditions having too much (fluid retention diseases) or too little (kidney stones, among others) can be harmful. Keeping the urine acidic is thought to be helpful (but it's failed clinical trials) so, vitamin C is often stated....it's a myth. Azo helps pain but if needed, need antibiotics too.
