Implantation: It could be some cramping from implantation of a pregnancy, but it could be just some premenstrual cramps as well. Bleeding from a corpus luteal cyst may cause pain also. If your period is late or light consider checking a pregnancy test. If cramping associate with an unusual discharge or if it gets worse it might be a good idea to see your GYN
