A member asked:

I started bc june 2nd, since the veins in my breasts/hips/thighs/palms have become more noticeable.. normal hormone side effects?

Hormone effects: Likely, the prominence of veins is a direct effect of the BCP you are now taking. This is normal. It is a good idea to report this to the prescribing physician. Perhaps the dose can be modified. And, be aware that venous thrombosis is a recognized side effect of BCP, though unusual.
