Let it heal: " Gamekeepers" or "Skier's" thumb is a common injury after a fall on the thumb or a significant 'stretch' of the thumb away from the index finger.The ulnar( inside) collateral ligament is affected @ the 'knuckle' joint. Most can be treated in a splint to allow the ligament to heal.More serious UCL ruptures may require surgical repair.I see u are pregnant... See ORS and get splint to let heal(6wks)

Ortho evaluation: You need to see an orthopaedist and have stress Xrays done to see if you have any ligament instability. Treatment would depend on the findings.
