Pregnancy: It is uncommon but occasionally a woman will become pregnant after a bilateral tubal ligation. As long as the pregnancy is in the uterus, not out in the tube (ectopic) then there would be a regular pregnancy. A tubal ligation is the most effective form of birth control, but even it is not 100%.
