Can i vacuum a week after i had a hysterectomy and bladder sling. my dr said i can't lift anything more than 15-20lbs but not vacuuming.

Better safe than...: Do you think you would never lift the vacuum? It's probably better to wait. If you can't be sure, call your doctor. They know what they did and whether it would be safe. The last thing you want is for them to have to go back and do the work again.

15-20lbs: As long as it is a push vacuum and is light,it's OK. If someone else,a grown up, lives with you let him or her do it for right now. Have a spedy recovery.
