I've been worried about a mole on my foot that keeps changing colour. i noticed it in last christmas when it was raised, yellow and lieu colours. now it's more like black with red edging. should i be worried?

See a dermatologist: Any mole that is changing color should be evaluated by a doctor. You could see your doctor or a dermatologist that specializes in moles. Chances are good they will biopsy the area to look microscopically to see if it is concerning. It is difficult to say just based on your description. Could be nothing but is worth getting evaluated sooner rather than later.
