IT depends: Usually breast MRI is targeted for the breasts only. You may see something in the surrounding skin and soft tissues but it is unlikely to see something abnormal in an area as far as the kidneys. MRI studies have very focused fields of view (like a close up photo). It is unlikely that for breast MRI a whole body scan would be performed.

No,: a breast MRI is targeted to the breast region and would not include the kidneys. Sometimes a portion of the upper abdomen may be included, and the upper liver and spleen can be seen. Portions of the chest may be included.
