Infection: What it sound like you may have a infection in the eyelid called stye. Warm compress might give some relief. Antibiotic ointments might be useful. Resistant bubbles some times need to be lanced by Ophthalmalogist.

Tea bags: It is possible that you were stung by an insect and therefore swollen. That is what makes it appear to have air in it. You can soak it with a lukewarm teabag 30 minutes at a time every couple of hours. Take cetrizine or loratadine for the reaction and itching.

Eyelid infection: You should have it checked by an Opthalmologist, sound like you have an infection and probably needs treatment.
