Very unlikely: If these are both being used, it is very unlikely that pregnancy will occur. Moreover I would be concerned about the side effects of using these similar drugs together as it appears you are doing. Please review this with your gynecologist.

Contraception: I do not recommend using both implanon and the Depo-Provera shot. Both are effective methods of birth control. You may have an increase in side effects of excessive hormones if you use both. Possible side effects range from menstrual irregularities to depression to elevated blood pressure. See your doctor to make the best decision about a birth control method for you.
