Hot showers.: Hot showers should not raise the core body temperature that much.

Feeling sick?: A hot shower could raise your body temperature for a brief period of time, but it should go back to normal quite quickly once out of the hot water. If you are feeling sick and continue to have a temp of 100.5 or above take some tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen and call your doctor for any concerns.
