Go back to GI: Bloody diarrhea for 2 weeks maybe infectious but need to rule out if you have other forms of colitis not just infection related. Part of the work up is having stool studies to confirm or deny that it is an infection. Its important to see if you've lost weight, or anemic. Go back and see the specialist. When patients don't come back, we assume that they're all better. You're not, so see them back.
