Maybe: Sometimes, depending on brand, & whether you followed the instructions, & other reasons, you may get a false negative on a home pregnancy test. See your doctor for a blood test and to find out if you got anything besides the possibility of pregnancy from unprotected sex (STD's). Until then, assume you are pregnant & no smoking, alcohol drugs, or over the counter meds except a vitamin with folate (folic acid).

Less likely: If you've had 2 negative pregnancy tests 8 days late, its less likely that you are pregnant. There are some exceptions to this such as a pregnancy that isn't a able to raise the pregnancy hormone above the threshold needed to turn a urine test positive. An example of this would be an ectopic pregnancy. You may want to get a blood pregnancy test to be sure. Best wishes!
