Gastric ulcer: Severe acidity could be due to a bleeding stomach ulcer. Testing your stools for blood would be useful in diagnosis. If there is a bleeding stomach ulcer your physician will refer you to a Gastro-enterologist: who could do further tests like Upper G.I series to look for a cause of acidity in your stomach.
