Bleeding: It depends on how he prescribed it to you. Since I don't know the answer to that the best thing to do is to continue the medicine as he gave it to you and call him when he is back in the office and ask him specifically when and what to do if it doesn't work when he says.

On birth control pill. Light spotting between periods. Yesterday had bowel movement and had vaginal bleeding when I wiped, but no residual/recurrent.
