Last resort: You are very young. Is hair loss early in your family history? First see your physician and have an exam and screening of your health and thyroid function, eat right with brightly-colored vegetables and fruit, sleep 7-8 hours a night, and exercise regularly. Drink sufficient amount of water. Rogaine (minoxidil) over-the-counter is something to try first. If premature male-pattern baldness, proscar (finasteride)

Hair transplant.: The costs vary depending upon the person who does it. Only a hair transplant specialist can comment whether you need it or not.

Depends: The nature of your hair loss should be thoroughly investigated. Caution should be exercised in performing hair transplants in younger patients especially if your hair loss is progressive in nature because premature hair transplantation can result in unnatural hair lines as you age. Consultation with a facial plastic surgeon trained in hair restoration is advisable.
