Another possibility: Another possible cause could be due to the acidic nature of the oranges. Sometimes eroded or exposed areas on teeth can be extra sensitive to acid, air, sweet, and temperature changes. These may not be a cavity now, but could be if left unattended to for long periods or if hygiene is poor. Best to have your dentist evaluate and restore if needed or place a fluoride varnish that might help.
