Could: If it just happens for one month, I probably wouldn't worry to much about it as lots of things can affect your period including stress, exercise, and diet. Keep an eye on it and see a gynecologist if the problem persists.

Not necessarily: For some people there is great variability in the characteristics of menses(the bleeding stage). Unless something else worrisome is going on symptoms wise or health wise, you should be fine just monitoring to see how you feel and what your next cycle is like.
