10 days: A pregnancy test will be positive by about 10 days after ovulation and conception. If you wait until your period is due, that would be 14 days after ovulation and a pregnancy test will be positive if you have indeed conceived. If your periods are not regular and predictable then the timing is more difficult to estimate.
