Artifact?: Hard to say without actually seeing the x-rays. They are moving position in films taken on the same day? I suspect that what you are seeing is something external to the body that was visible on the xray. Ask the doctor ordered the films to be done what the reading was --- a radiologist would have made mention of them in the report.
