A member asked:

Can i have warts because of my lack of immune system?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible/unlikely: Certainly people with a weakened immune system (for example pt with HIV) are more likely to contract opportunistic infections with viruses and parasites. However, warts are very common even in healthy 17 y/o. You are probably very healthy and have warts because 10% or more of healthy teenagers have warts.
