Anti-DNA Ab: Antibody to double strand DNA. Anti-Sm antibody (nuclear antigen). Both are very specific. Anti-Sm is not sensitive.

Lupus: Lupus can be difficult to diagnose, but the usual battery of tests includes ANA, APL, Ant-Sm, Anti ds-DNA, Anti Ro(SSA), Ant La (SSB), ESR, Complement, CRP, chemistry panel, and urinalysis.
