Kidney stone pain: It is possible that he passed the stone by the time he got to the hospital. It is also possible that the pain he had was not due to a kidney stone. Did you ask the physicians who saw him there what the problem was? The had all the pertinent information and could have provided you with a meaningful answer, if they were asked.

The Question is?: I am sorry but that means that there is no kidney stone seen on their exam or X-rays and that his pain is not caused by a kidney stone.
