A member asked:

How many months can i continuously take the bcp so that i don't have a period ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Indefinitely: You do not need to induce a period but you run the risk of having some breakthrough bleeding or spotting. For people with painful periods or other reasons to take a continuous oral contraceptive, I suggest a week off every 6 months but there really is no need to do this.
