See details: There are many treatment options for your friend. Depending on her age, a proper evaluation needs to be done first to determine a specific cause. PMDD is not causing her heavy bleeding with clots. Once the evaluation has determined the cause, the GYN can review the most suitable options taking into account the need to address her PMDD.
