Linoleic acid: Linoleic acid is an polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid. It is an "essential fatty acid" meaning that the body can not synthesize it. In excess (levels too high) it is not good for you but don't forget that it is vital for good health. The conjugated version is a marketed supplement with supposed health benefits however there are no scientific studies that support that claim.
