Does schizoaffective disorder tend to get worse as we age? for women especially as hormone levels start to decline?

Your needs do change: I'd like to encourage you not to think of it as worse, but only different. Yes, your body is changing hormonally and in other ways too. It's not all bad - but your medications need to keep up with you. Some might end others start. Have a thorough exam, lab work and referrals if needed. Talk therapy may help you understand your needs better too. Change is hard, but might be good. Find support.
