Pregnancy and sex: Generally, there is no prohibition against sex during early pregnancy. Many women may have symptoms of tiredness or nausea which may reduce the desire or pleasure from sex, but the baby is perfectly safe. In the first trimester, you may need to abstain from sex if you have vaginal bleeding or a history of an incompetent cervix. Please discuss with your doctor. Best wishes.

Sex during pregnancy: There is no evidence that sex during pregnancy is harmful unless you are at risk of preterm labor after 20 weeks or need a procedure like cervical suturing. The first trimester is the easiest time during which to enjoy intercourse. As you become larger in late pregnancy sex can be challenging. That said very rough sex is not advised. Anything that would be traumatic to the pelvis should be avoided

Early pregnancy: Sexual activity throughout pregnancy can continue as per usual for you. The level of activity may be modified or disallowed if there are risk factors that are/can complicate the pregnancy. For example: Have you had bleeding? Do you have a history of preterm labor or preterm delivery? Base your level of sexual activity on your own level of comfort unless there are complicating issues.
