A member asked:

Does peeing after sex get rid of the sperm or kill the sperm?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Urinating after sex does not remove sperm, and definitely does not kill them. It should NOT be relied on as a "birth control" method, no matter what someone else has told you. If you don't wish to be a mother, make sure you use spermicidal foam AND condoms, or birth control medications (which don't prevent sexually transmitted disease). Even washing your vagina does not kill sperm. Take care!
