Twitching: Shivering or twitching is often called myoclonus, which is a descriptive term for the event. This can have no real reason for occurring, or may be the result of an underlying process like epilepsy or nervous system disorders. In the absence of any other symptoms, this is not often a symptom of great note. However, if concerned, please see your doctor.
