Pituitary Adenoma: Hi, You have what we call Microadenoma, these kinds are not making mass effect, and the treatment with Dopamin agonist medication like bromocriptine not only decreases the Prolactin level but shrinks down the tumor, you need to repeat MRI in 6 wks and 6 months after treatment started, A newest medication called cabergoline is available, too but cannot be used in pregnancy.
