Dentist: I think it is important that you see a dentist right away. Sounds like dental caries have made a hole in your tooth. You are lucky if you have no pain yet.

Hole: Ok, there appears to be a carious lesion in one of your teeth. Better see a local dentist to have it evaluated and restored. It isn't getting better on its own.

Decay/lost filling: If you have a hole in your tooth it has to be caused by decay or perhaps you lost a previous filling. Have your dentist examine and treat accordingly. As long has the hole or cavity has not affected the tooth nerve a filling or restoration should be sufficient. Have a full mouth examination with xrays. Don't wait till you see a hole or feel pain to visit your dentist. Avoid root canal/extraction

Not a good thing: A hole in your tooth is never a good thing. It can be the result of a cavity, a missing filling, or a part of the tooth that broke. In either case, you really should see a dentist right away before this tooth becomes further damaged or worse, lost to an infection or a fracture.

See your dentist: It sounds like you have a cavity. Get into your dentist to have it looked at. If it isn't hurting they may be able to do a filling and avoid having much more expensive work done. The earlier the better as the hole can get large rather quickly or get into the nerve. Best of luck!

Hole in tooth: See a dentist ASAP. The longer your wait the bigger the hole will get and the more extensive the treatment will be. Don't wait until you have pain to see a dentist. Take action now.

See dentist: See your dentist for a complete evaluation. It may be as simple as a wear from grinding to a need for a complex restoration or root canal.
