Depends: Everyone has a different response to it. Usually the reason you take it is that the good effects outweigh the bad ones.

Can be: Tegretol is a very useful drug. However the safe level in the blood can be exceeded by other drugs people many take unknowingly, even acetaminophen & supplements. The risks can be minimized with monitoring by your doc & avoiding anything that may interact with it. Every drug has killed somebody, even if only one. Discuss with your doc why it is best for you & what you should watch for.
