Not sure: Not sure what you mean by cryptic pregnancy? Do you have medical problems making anesthesia for D&C risky for you? It can be done under sedation with a local anesthetic. How far along are you? What was seen, no heartbeat? This is a fetal demise. No fetus? This is a blighted ovum. You might even consider a second opinion. Sorry for the frustration you are going through.
