Ovulation prediction: The best way to know the exact day of ovulation is to get an ovulation prediction test at the pharmacy. They are sold without a prescription. Usually you start testing 12 days after the start of a period. When it turns positive, you know ovulation will occur in the next 12-48 hours. That night and the next are ideal times to "try". Testing sperm is done in a lab. See your doc for that!
