It shouldn't hurt: Hi, Having intercourse for the first time should not affect urination. If you are having pain with urination you likely have a urinary tract infection. Other symptoms of a UTI are increased frequency of urination and an increased urge to urinate. I suggest you see your doctor for a urinalysis and treatment with antibiotics. Urinating immediately after intercourse will help prevent UTI's.

Most likely: The urine is coming in contact with the irritated vagina from having sex the first time. The vaginal opening should heal in a few days and the burning which is external will improve.
