Interesting "?": There are, indeed, differences to be considered in organ systems that may appear at first glance to be unrelated. But they are! For instance, the hormones provided to maintain the new gender expression have effects on the entire body and may bring about vascular issues, gallstones even type II diabetes. Not that much!: Once the gender issues are addressed, medical care is pretty much the same for transgender people and "cis gender" people. But having a synchronous gender is so important, and once it's addressed, many things about a person's life can get much better. All people - transgender or not - need good primary care health care!
