Same as childhood: Adults usually have a history of ADHD as a child. Adult ADHD can be acquired due to a concussion or brain injury or from brain infection. The symptoms would be the same as in children, short attention span, easy distractibility, distractibility and difficulty sustaining focus on tasks.
