Please clarify: You opened your daughters vagina, broke the hymen and entered it to find her cervix? Could you perhaps have used the wrong term here? If not what promoted you to look deep inside her vagina?

Odd comment: Even with the special tools I have available, I have never looked for or seen the cervix in an 11 mo.I can't thing of a reason I would ever want to look for it.Perhaps your terminology is a bit off.

Is the baby not well: I agree with Dr. Ferguson. Unless you're a trained medical professional I find it disconcerting that you're trying to look into the vaginal orifice of an 11 month to find the cervix. That requires specialized equipment. If you think there's a problem you should take her to the pediatrician.They will properly examine her for you & refer as necessary to a specialist if something's wrong.
