Please don't put: any soap in the vagina. Best to use a gentle, non-fragranced soap on external genitalia. No Douching! If you have bacterial vaginosis then get it treated. Please review "MAINTAINING VAGINAL HEALTH" tip taps for a fuller understanding of Do's & Don'ts of vaginal care.

No: However, you can be sensitive to the fragrance and have irritation with use. If you have BV, this might be even more noticeable.

No: Fragranced soap can be irritating and cause genital itching or burning but it does not effect the bacteria in the vagina and thus does not cause, worsen, or cure bacterial vaginosis. Hope this helps.

Yes: Fragranced soap will alter the vaginal pH (acidity/alkalinity) index and change the bacterial content but not rid the area of pathogens. Antibiotics oral or vaginal creams are the Rx's of choice.

Not likely: I would say no since BV is an internal imbalance in your bacteria and soap is only used on the outside. Actually, I don't recommend using any soap on the genitals as it can strip away your protective oils, leaving your vulvar/vaginal skin more prone to irritation and dryness. Try to just splash the genitals with water. We actually don't know what causes BV or why some people keep getting it.
