Try Benadryl (diphenhydramine) in 3 mo: Most likely the standard 1.5mg patch commercially available is too much for the average weight of a 21 month old and the only recommended medication even close would be dimenhydrinate (Benadryl) 12.5mg to 25mg but that would be for children ages 2-5 yo.
